This one of three files containing religion columns written by the Rev. Greg
Dykstra, a Dallas Seminary-educated evangelical pastor in East Peoria, Ill.

Greg is a frequent contributor to the Peoria Journal Star's religion page. As the Journal Star's religion editor, and as someone who joined his church after reading his stories and dealing with him on a professional basis -- and someone who has become a good friend of Greg -- I can highly recommend his columns.

Greg has been pastor at Oak Grove for several years and also teaches at the local Moody Bible Institute Extension. He is currently vice president of the Evangelical Ministerial Association and is its immediate past president.
